If you RSVP and do not attend, there will be a $20 no show charge for members and $40 for non-members as the chapter must pay for missed meals. BREAKFAST FORUM - (2 CPE) "Introduction to the GSA schedule, Including Advantages and Pitfalls"
Our breakfast speaker will be Jeffrey S. Robinette, Attorney with the Robinette Group PLC .
Mr. Robinette is an attorney with nearly twenty years experience in government contract management and law. His legal practice focuses primarily on client consultation and transactional work, and helping corporate executives find creative solutions to contract and regulatory challenges impacting their businesses. He works with small and large public companies to implement business controls and reengineer commercial business practices to create compliance systems that address regulatory and unique contract requirements. He has extensive experience in corporate regulatory compliance matters, particularly in government contracting. Mr. Robinette maintains a thorough understanding of the Federal Supply Schedule program, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS). He counsels clients on Federal Supply Schedule matters, including proposal preparation, contract administration, negotiations, claims, internal investigations and voluntary disclosures. He has, for example, investigated systemic pricing issues, foreign sourcing restrictions, payment practices, potential fraud, and prepared voluntary disclosures and remedial action plans relating to non-compliance in these areas. Prior to founding the Robinette Group PLC in 2006, Mr. Robinette worked for Oracle Corporation, Reed Smith, the U.S. Navy, and Boeing. Mr. Robinette graduated from the Columbus School of Law in 1997. He is admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Virginia and in Washington, D.C., and is an active member of the American Bar Association.
